Ping is a pure JavaScript implementation of the classic game Pong.
I participated in a team building Ping as our first independent group project within Makers Academy, where we had one week to build and present an idea we wanted to create.
The project required extensive upskilling by all of the members of the team, and each of us had to take leadership over different parts of the game and its engine to allow us to deliver something substantial on such a short timescale.
I took leadership over the canvas and game loop, writing code to enable the work achieved by other members to render onto the screen. My work also enabled the implementation of the game's controls and physics.
My team and I were successful in our work, and had a fully-functional (if slightly primative!) game to present after one week.
